Now, when volunteers and experts are constantly talking about the negative impact, which human activity has on the environment, many of us are thinking of contributing to the improvement of the situation.

And while it takes some time to actually start doing something, you can avoid doing a list of things, for which nature will be grateful.

You can contribute greatly to reducing the pollution of the environment if you buy an eco-friendly car. But, what to do if you don't have money for the expensive hybrids? You will help the environments if you simply don't buy any of the following cars.

Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat

Once a glorious muscle car, good old Dodge Charger is now the enemy of the environment. At least until someone designs a muscle car engine, which performs the same functions as the current one, but in an eco-friendly car. Surely, in the 1960s and 70s, this was quite a good vehicle, but a lot has changed since then. Except for this car's polluting potential, probably. Dodge Charger evokes nostalgia but makes the passers-by choke on fumes at the same time.

Toyota Tundra

The construction of this truck is second to none. It can easily carry huge pieces of a rock wall and another car in its trunk if you need it to. What it can do with a similar force is to release carbon dioxide: up to 1.3 pounds/mile. If numbers do not mean much to you, this is almost equal to coal-burning engines. I'm saying "almost" because coal burners are sometimes more environmental-friendly.

Lexus GX 460

This vehicle is on the list of luxurious cars. It rides very smoothly, accelerates really fast, and it is beautiful. What else would you need a luxurious car to be? Right, eco-friendly. Unfortunately, Lexus GX 460 is not. If you think of it, all the horsepower must be produced from something, right? In case of this vehicle, the power comes from an extremely polluting engine, which is capable of releasing 1.15 pounds of CO2 per one mile. Obviously, the experience of driving a Duster with an electric engine is unforgettable, but the ride would be much smoother inside an electric car.

Chevrolet Corvette Z06

An awesome vehicle, this model of Chevrolet is also a true petrol guzzler. It can release 1.11 pounds of carbon dioxide having consumed a gallon in 23 miles. Dream-like as this car might be, it does a considerable damage to the environment, so if you are a serious car lover, you have to think twice whether the awesomeness is really worth it. You might feel like James Bond driving this car, but environmentally speaking, burning up tires in the middle of a street also might look spectacular and does less harm to the planet.

Summing it all up, I can say that humanity is lucky to have made these cars so ridiculously expensive. If only few people drive these cars, maybe the planet has higher chances of survival.
